Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is an inexhaustible resource, unlike fossil fuels, and technologies are developing to utilise processes for transfer to usable energy. The following types would be considered as renewable energy: Solar energy, wind energy or water energy.
Currently the global energy supply is mainly based onrestricted and not on lasting energy sources such, as uranium, coal, oil and natural gas. The occurrence of these restricted energy sources will be exhausted within the next approx. twenty to thirty years.
According to the IEA (International Energy Agency) and a study of the Federal Government of the FRG it will be possible to cover about 30 percent of the worldwide energy consumption with renewable energy by 2030. Furthermore the study says that until 2050 up to 50 percent of the global energy household will be covered by renewable energy sources.
This forecast looks even better for Germany. According to the forecast of the federal ministry of the environment (BUM) the renewable energy in Germany could cover approx. half of the whole German energy household already by the year of 2020.
Advantages
Since 2009 the EU is granting the decree of state regulations to the member states of the European Union if the respective government in each country promotes enterprises, that are using the renewable energy of stream, warmth, cold and so forth. For this reason, it will be expected that up to 20% of the energy total consumption within the European Union will be based on renewable energies by the year of 2020.
For the construction of e.g. wind turbines, the Federal Government offers main connection guarantees, decrease reimbursements and tax credits.
To put companies at an advantage, there will be subsidies and tax advantages to motivate organizations to invest in renewable energy. As even more mid-sized to large companies become green over time, they may take advantage of high tax reductions and benefits provided by the government. While money can be saved a further side effect is an improved image and an increasing value of the brand name of those companies starting to invest in renewable energy.
Challenges
Little knowledge about local legal regulations, different deadlines and administrative regulations make it almost impossible for the majority of companies to leverage the potentials and benefits associated with renewable energies successfully.
Bureaucratic barriers and terms of references, working orders and unstructured approaches are the main reasons why most projects fail. Especially foreign companies without a capable partner providing the necessary industry knowledge, experience difficulties.
How we can help
For tax advantages and the support of the government, there is a huge chance for companies and local authorities. The changing society and the new awareness for green energy in the heads of the people, gives companies the chance of high sales and large yield return. From a municipal view, providers could secure the income from trade tax and delivery tax. Furthermore, jobs are protected, strengthening the reconomy of the region.
