Yet, these numbers don\u2019t tell the whole story. In this post, we\u2019ll take a step back to provide you with a sense of the bigger picture for Germany\u2019s 2020 economic prospects. Much to your surprise, you\u2019ll find out it\u2019s not looking quite like the doom and gloom image painted by much of the media. <\/span><br><br> <strong><span textcolor=\"#555555\">Strong Underlying Forces:<\/span><\/strong><br><br> <span textcolor=\"#555555\">Germany\u2019s economy is built on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/business-18868704\"><u><span textcolor=\"#1155cc\">a solid foundation<\/span><\/u><\/a><span textcolor=\"#555555\"> and is capable of maintaining stability even amidst global political turbulence. It\u2019s continued strength can be attributed to a number of factors, but there are three that stand out: 1) German companies do not overborrow and, as a general rule, are quite frugal; 2) The country\u2019s companies maintain mutually respectful and beneficial relationships with employees; and 3) Employee job training starts young and is a high national priority.<\/span><br><br> <span textcolor=\"#555555\">With this solid basis, Germany\u2019s economy is able to weather the storms of global politics with minimal damage.<\/span><br><br> <strong><span textcolor=\"#555555\">Rising Incomes, Increased Spending: <\/span><\/strong><br><br> <span textcolor=\"#555555\">GDP isn\u2019t the only important indicator of a country\u2019s economic health. <\/span><br><br> <span textcolor=\"#555555\">Germany\u2019s workers can expect an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kielinstitut.de\/media\/news\/german-economy-falters\/\"><u><span textcolor=\"#1155cc\">increase in income in 2020<\/span><\/u><\/a><span textcolor=\"#555555\">, which is likely to have a positive outcome on consumption. Though this increase is slightly below that for 2019, it still bodes well for the economy in consumption-related sectors. <\/span><br><br> <span textcolor=\"#555555\">In other words, 2020 remains a promising year for consumer product companies looking to expand into the German market. <\/span><br><br> <strong><span textcolor=\"#555555\">Unemployment Numbers Projected to Remain Stable:<\/span><\/strong><br><br> <span textcolor=\"#555555\">The current economic decline is not expected to have a significant impact on the country\u2019s unemployment numbers.
