Due to the corona pandemic, trade fairs could only take place digitally in recent months: Exhibitors made experiences with self-produced streams, purely digital matchmaking, and virtual exhibition stands. The results are mixed. Although trade fair companies have done a lot to present content and made discussions online available in the best possible way. But the exchange and interaction via screens can hardly be compared with direct contact. Trade shows is people business.
As a result of decreasing corona numbers, face-to-face trade shows are now coming back into focus for companies and operators. Many exhibitors are looking forward to face-to-face meetings that can be experienced with all their senses on one of Germany’s tradeshows. Especially in Germany, the country where trade fairs still enjoy a very high priority, things really start again in 2022.
